ESG: A COMPETENCE FRAMEWORK
The ESG Competence Framework has used the Vocational Qualification Transfer System (VQTS) model, a structured description of work-related competences.
We questioned entrepreneurs and employees from a wide-ranging number of companies in five countries & conducted research into current literature on enterprise skills in these countries. As a result we identified the key enterprise skills that were most highly valued.
Our Competence Framework thus presents very clearly the most desirable learning outcomes for an enterprising employee or potential entrepreneur.
On a vertical axis you can read off the key enterprise skills. On a horizontal axis the learner’s steps of competence development are displayed.
The matrix structure allows the learning provider to make planned changes to take account of new developments in the working world.
ESG: USING THE FRAMEWORK
A training plan can be based or mapped on the Competence Framework and described in terms of learning outcomes.
A Course Profile can also be tailored to meet the different national systems throughout Europe and the different delivery arrangements in particular training institutions. The Framework can also be used to produce an Individual Profile for each learner.
